Community project

コミュニティープロジェクトで生徒たちは様々なコミュニティーが抱えている問題を特定し、その問題や需要をどのように解決していくかをサービス活動を通して学んでいきます。このコミュニティープロジェクトの最後には3~4人のグループに分かれ、調べたコミュニティーへのサービス活動をもってプロジェクトを締めくくります。生徒たちは自身の学びをより多くの人が見れる形で示すために現実では展示パネルを作成、そしてヴァーチャルでも見れるよう、自身のグループの学びを示す世界を作成しました。

Community projects provided students with an opportunity to identify needs in various communities and address those needs through service learning. To wrap up the learning, the Community Project involved small groups engaging in sustained inquiry that led to service in the community. Students exhibit their learning both in an exhibition format and a virtual reality format to help include others in the wider Tamagawa Community such as family members who would otherwise not be able to make it as a Service in Action.
